Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, who was the Queen of the United Kingdom for seventy years, passed away at age 96.
When Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth paid her first state visit to Nepal in 1961 (2017 Bikram Sambat) on the invitation of late King Mahendra, it was Boris Lissanevitch, a Russian and pioneer of hotel industry in Nepal, who flew in cavier from Caspian Sea and lined up 376 elephants to salute Her late Majesty with their trunks.
This is just a piece of history. The late Queen again was on a state visit to Nepal on the invitation of late King Birendra for the second time in 2043 Bikram Sambat.
Nepal Oregon News expresses heart-felt condolences to the British Royal family. We all have to go one day from this world. Anichavata Sankhara. Wishing Nibbana to the departed soul of Her late Majesty the Queen.
